Maak kennis met VOKALISK, waar enthousiaste stemmen samenkomen om prachtige koormelodieën te creëren en de vreugde van het zingen te delen, zowel met onze leden als met ons publiek. Wij zijn een diverse groep, afkomstig uit Nederland, met leden van verschillende achtergronden en nationaliteiten. Met toewijding streven we ernaar ons vak te verbeteren en adembenemende koormuziek te brengen die de harten van ons publiek raakt.

Samen met het getalenteerde CONCERTOVALIANTE zijn zijn we verheugd ons concertprogramma VOKALISK - CONCERTOVALIANTE in Concert 2023 aan te kondigen, onder leiding van Dody Soetanto en met sopraan Sara de los Campos. Dit staat gepland voor december van dit jaar en we kijken er enorm naar uit.

VOKALISK - CONCERTOVALIANTE in Concert 2025 - Te Deum

VOKALISK - CONCERTOVALIANTE in Concert 2025 - Te Deum presents a dynamic exploration of choral music and baroque ensemble repertoire, showcasing the talents of young musicians. From the profound spiritual depths of Allegri's Miserere Mei to the celestial expanse of McDermid's Regions Infinite, the program offers a rich and varied musical journey. Handel's Laudate Pueri brings a sense of youthful enthusiasm yet challanging, while Lully's Te Deum concludes with a triumphant affirmation.

The concert features a unique collaboration between a vocal ensemble of talented young singers from across the Netherlands and a vibrant baroque ensemble of young professionals from the conservatories in the Netherlands. This project aims to bridge the gap in between young talented singers and professional musicians in music-making, as well as encouraging a vibrant musical community. By bringing together young, enthusiastic singers with experienced orchestral players, the concert seeks to inspire a new generation of musicians with a passion for classical music. The program's contrast of baroque masterpieces with contemporary works highlights the inspiration and relevance of classical music, encouraging audiences to explore the rich journey of musical styles and genres.

VOKALISK - CONCERTOVALIANTE in Concert 2025 - Te Deum

VOKALISK - CONCERTOVALIANTE in Concert 2025 - Te Deum presenteert een dynamische verkenning van koormuziek en barokrepertoire, met de talenten van jonge muzikanten. Van de diepe spirituele lading van Allegri’s Miserere Mei tot de hemelse klanken van McDermid’s Regions Infinite, biedt het programma een rijke en gevarieerde muzikale reis. Handel’s Laudate Pueri straalt jeugdige energie uit, maar is uitdagend, terwijl Lully's Te Deum afsluit met een triomfantelijke bevestiging.

Het concert brengt een unieke samenwerking tussen een vocaal ensemble van getalenteerde jonge zangers uit heel Nederland en een levendig barokensemble van jonge professionals van Nederlandse conservatoria. Dit project wil de kloof dichten tussen jonge zangers en professionele muzikanten, en een levendige muzikale gemeenschap stimuleren. Door jonge, enthousiaste zangers samen te brengen met ervaren orkestspelers, wil het concert een nieuwe generatie muzikanten inspireren met een passie voor klassieke muziek. De afwisseling van barokmeesterwerken en hedendaagse werken in het programma laat zien hoe klassiek muziek zowel inspireert als relevant blijft, en moedigt het publiek aan om de rijke reis van muziekstijlen en -genres te ontdekken.

VOKALISK - Call for Singers

We are VOKALISK, a group of passionate singers who come together to create beautiful choral music and share our love of singing with each other and our audiences. We aim to continuously develop high level choral singing and gain a strong presence in the choral society by participating actively in challenging activities like concerts and festivals.

We are excited to invite experienced amateur or semi-professional singers to join our group for any future concerts. Would you become one of us?

Here are some highlights that you may be interested in:

  • We perform a wide range of choral music, from Renaissance and Baroque to Contemporary, either a cappella or with professional instrumentalists and soloists.

  • The ensemble group will be led by Dody Soetanto, a professional baritone and conductor with over a decade of experience in the field. Under his expert guidance, we ensure that every member will have the opportunity to grow and thrive as a musician. See his resume for more information.

  • There are no participation fees. We try our best to cover any logistic costs (scores, rehearsals, etc.) so that you can focus on singing.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to showcase your skills and join forces with other talented musicians. As we strive to achieve high level, we are looking for those who share the same value. We expect our singers to:

  • have a music sense and be able to sing with great intonation and choral singing techniques,

  • be able to master his/her part independently within a limited time,

  • preferably have experience singing in an amateur or semi-professional (chamber) choir or vocal ensemble, and

  • be able to fully commit to all designated performances and rehearsals once they become available. Acceptance does not require participation in every project; you will be invited and informed in advance about upcoming projects and their schedules, allowing you to decide whether or not to join and commit.
